” ডিগনিটি,ফ্রিডম অ্যান্ড জাস্টিস ফর অল” বা মর্যাদা, স্বাধীনতা এবং ন্যায় বিচার সবার জন্য। এই প্রতিপাদ্যকে সামনে রেখে সারা দেশের ন্যায় নরসিংদীর পলাশে বিশ্ব মানবাধিকার দিবস পালিত হয়েছে। শনিবার (১০ ডিসেম্বর) সকালে বিশ্ব মানবাধিকার দিবস উপলক্ষে নরসিংদীর পলাশে র‍্যালী, মানববন্ধন ও আলোচনা সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

দিবসটি উপলক্ষে মানবাধিকার কমিশন পলাশ উপজেলা শাখার উদ্যোগে একটি র‍্যালী অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। র‍্যালীটি পলাশ উপজেলার বিভিন্ন প্রধান প্রধান সড়ক প্রদক্ষিণ শেষে পলাশ বাসস্ট্যান্ডে মানববন্ধন ও আলোচনা সভায় মিলিত হয়। আলোচনা সভায় উপস্থিত ছিলেন মানবাধিকার কমিশন পলাশ উপজেলার সভাপতি ও পজেটিভ বাংলা টিভির সম্পাদক মোঃ বিল্লাল হোসেন, সহ-সভাপতি আব্দুস সালাম,শাহ বোরহান মেহেদী, মোঃ শাহীন ভূইয়া, মঞ্জুর হোসেন খান, মোঃ মোবারক হোসেন, মিনার খান,জাহিদুল হোসেন মনির,বিভিন্ন ইলেকট্রনিক ও প্রিন্ট মিডিয়ার সাংবাদিকসহ বিভিন্ন স্বেচ্ছাসেবীগণ উপস্থিত ছিলেন। উল্লেখ্য যে,১৯৪৮ সালের এই দিনে জাতিসংঘের সাধারণ পরিষদে মানবাধিকারের সর্বজনীন ঘোষণাপত্র গৃহীত হয়। পরে ১৯৫০ সালে ১০ ডিসেম্বর দিনটিকে জাতিসংঘ বিশ্ব মানবাধিকার দিবস হিসেবে ঘোষণা করে। এ ঘোষণার মাধ্যমে স্বীকৃত হয় মানবাধিকার সবার জন্য সমানভাবে প্রযোজ্য।
