জানা গেছে, ২০০৬ সালে স্কুলটি প্রতিষ্ঠার পর থেকেই শিক্ষার্থীরা জেএসসি এবং এসএসসিতে প্রতি বছরই উল্লেখযোগ্য সংখ্যক জিপিএ-৫ সহ শতভাগ উত্তীর্ণ হয়ে আসছিল। এরই ধারাবাহিকতায় এ বছরও বিদ্যালয়ের ৭২ জন শিক্ষার্থী এসএসসি পরীক্ষায় অংশ নিয়েছিল। কিন্তু প্রকাশিত ফলাফলে দেখা যায়, ওই ৭২ জন পরীক্ষার্থীর মধ্যে ৩৫ জন জিপিএ-৫ সহ ৫৯ জন উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছে। অন্য ১৩ জন শুধু গণিতে ফেল করেছে। শুধু তাই নয়, শহীদ স্মৃতি বিদ্যাপীঠের ১৩ পরীক্ষার্থীসহ একই হলের আরও ৩৯ জন গণিতে ফেল করে।
