Textbook selling in Kamalnagar; Hawker arrested with books

In Lakshmipur's Kamalnagar, the complaint has been made against Super Nurul Amin of Hajipaza Al-Arafah Darul Uloom Dakhil Madrasah, located in Char Lawrence Unit, for selling Deota free books to hawkers for students in Kamalnagar.

On October 29 (Saturday) around 12 noon, Hajipaza Arafah Darul Uloom Dakhil Madrasah was stopped at a pickup song with Dhaka Metto-n 15-3275 attached to the local book.

The Superintendent of Madrasa sold 400 kg books from the first class to the tenth class, including most of the 2022 ongoing poisons made by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board, to a hawker of Dhaka Jatrabasi.

In front of the madrasa, you can see the books sold to the hawkers - Bengali, English, Mathematics, General Science, Islam, and other books of the board of the madrasa, which have been sold in the book of 2022 and the new book of 2021 education. Some of the old termites of the year are cut off.

Hawker said that the superintendent of the madrasa will sell old books till the last few days and request him to come in. When I came to the house in the morning, he himself sold 400 kg of books and took 20 thousand rupees from me and handed them the books to my house.

The locals demanded the trial of the sale of books by the students and said, if you sell super books before, I will arrest you and then there is no trial, now you demand exemplary punishment.

Paja Al-Arafah Darul Uloom Dakhil called on the mobile phone of Dakhil Madrasa superintendent to inquire about the complaint but did not get it.

Upazila secondary education in this regard Officer Jahangir Alam said that there is no need to sell government books at the rate of government books from any school, which is to be submitted to the upazila secondary book distribution, warehousing and conservation committees. They are then sold by inviting tenders.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kamruzzan said that the Hawker Police Station has been detained with books. The sale of books of the organization will be legal action.

Nurul Haque Modern Hospital infrastructure not built even 5 years after foundation stone was laid

Md. Badiuzzaman (Tuhin), Noakhali Correspondent:

Even after 5 years of laying the foundation stone of Nurul Haque Modern Hospital in Nokhali, the people of Feni, Lakshipur and No'akhali are being deprived of medical services.

In 1979, the then President G.Aur Rahman laid the foundation stone of Notakhali Medical College Hospital in Maijdi district town of No'khali, later after Gitaur Rahman was killed, after the coming of power, Hussain Muhammad Ershad canceled the project of Medical College Hospital.

Later, the chairman of Pertex Group, former member of parliament MA Hashem Begumganj Chowrasta and Feni Lakshipur, took the land from the government to establish a medical college next to the Maha Sasak of No.Akhali Comilla in a rich and open pleasant environment. After that, MA Hashem Medical College took the initiative to fill the land.

But in the same way the government of 1/11 canceled that lease and the then government laid the foundation stone of Notakhali Medical College in place of cancellation of the decre and then in 2008-09 No, MBBS admission started.

The construction of the infrastructure of the medical college did not complete the first class of No.Chali General Hospital.

After the coming of power by the Awami League government, on July 8, 2014, No.hakhali was changed to the name of the Medical College and was named after the late Abdul Malek Ukil.

Along with that, the hospital was named after former Member of Parliament Jan Leader Nurul Haque Meatar.
On February 7, 2007, the then Health Minister Mohammad Nasim, Abdul Malek laid the foundation stone of 500-bed Nurul Haque Modern Hospital next to Ukil Medical College.

But even though Malek Ukil Medical College was opened, the infrastructure of 500-bed Nurul Haque Modern Hospital is still being built, so the people of Greater Nokhali are being deprived of advanced treatment.

The 500-bed Nurul Haque Modern Hospital file is not being approved even after repeated য়য়য়, but the construction of infrastructure is not starting. Dhaka is referred to for better treatment of complex patients. But most of these patients will die on the way to Dhaka.
Meanwhile, there is no hospital next to the medical college. 12 kilometers long, I have to go to Nokhali General Hospital and internate the medical students.

Recently, the students protested for 21-point demands including the construction of hospitals next to the college and locked the main gate of the college.

Extreme anxiety and despair prevails even among the conscious people who are not built in the hospital.
In this regard, Abdul Malek Ukil Medical College Principal Dr. Abduch Chalam said that although the proposal was raised repeatedly for the hospital, the details have been asked to change the details. He also said that a committee has been formed in this regard.
