The highest temperature in the country was 35.3 degrees Celsius in Sandwip. Also, the temperature in the capital was 34.4 degrees Celsius.




43 arrested in police raid in Dhaka!

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 43 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs by conducting anti-narcotics operations in different areas of the capital.

A large amount of drugs have been seized from those who have been arrested. 34 cases have been filed against the arrested persons of various police stations of DMP.

This Saturday (October 22) morning, DMP's Midi and Public Relations Department Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) Md. Farooq Hossain came to know this information.

He said that as part of the anti-narcotics campaign of DMP, they were arrested in various areas of the capital from 6 am on Friday to 6 am.

631 pieces of Eightaba, 26 grams 30 purita heroin, 2 kg 440 grams 250 purita ganja and 20 bottles of Fensidil were seized from them.

He also said that 34 cases have been registered against the arrested police station under Narcotics Control Act.




Fire at hawkers' market in Mymensingh brought under control

The fire in the Hawkers Market in Ganginarpa, Mamansingh city, has come under fire.

Accused in Jubo Dal leader Didar's murder case arrested after a decade!

Youth dies while applying dub in Lakshmipur
