3 accused in the case of beating 4 children in the sugarcane field to play in Lakshmipur have been sent to jail.
On Wednesday (September 21) at noon, the Judge of the Judicial Magistrate of Ratpur Amli Court, Victorita Chakma, rejected the bail application and ordered them to be sent to jail.
Earlier on August 4, Tanjid Ahmed's uncle Mizanur Rahman Sabuj filed a complaint in the same court, and the judge Abu Yusuf ordered the officer-in-charge (OC) of Ratpur police station to file an FIR in the same day.
Plaintiff's lawyer Abdur Rahim Raju said that after the last months of the case, the accused had appeared in court and had filed a bail application, which had insisted that the children were bleed in the PT, which the court rejected the bail application and ordered them to be sent to jail.
The accused are Md. Muslim, Mamun Hossain, Sahab Uddin Mizhi. They are residents of Charmohana Unit of Rashtpur Upazila No. 6 Otarard Charmohana village.
The injured children are Shamim Hossain (10), son of Ismail Hossain of the same village, Tanjid Ahmed (8), son of Tofastel Ahmed. Azad's son. Shamim (11) and Gitas Uddin's son Shamim Ahmed (9). They are residents of the same village in Dakshin Udmara of Dakshin Charababil Unity, who complained about Sabuj, who is a resident of the same village.
According to the complaint, the victims of the four children are robbers and take a bath along the river.
The accused later tied them to the trees and the children's relatives came and rescued them and admitted them to the Upazila Health Complex. From there, Shamim Hossain was referred to Sadar Hospital.
