তরুণ সমাজকে উন্নত দেশ গড়ার কারিগর অ্যাখ্যা দিয়ে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা বলেছেন, আমাদের লক্ষ্য হচ্ছে উন্নত বাংলাদেশ গড়া। ২০৪১ সালের মধ্যে উন্নত বাংলাদেশ গড়ব। আমাদের তরুণ সমাজই হবে সেই ’৪১ এর কারিগর।

আজ রোববার (১১ সেপ্টম্বর) ‘শেখ হাসিনা ইয়ুথ ভলান্টিয়ার অ্যাওয়ার্ড’ অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে এসব কথা বলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। সকালে রাজধানীর ওসমানী স্মৃতি মিলনায়তনে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার পক্ষে যুব ও ক্রীড়া প্রতিমন্ত্রী জাহিদ আহসান রাসেল তাদের হাতে সম্মাননা তুলে দেন। এসময় প্রধানমন্ত্রী তার সরকারি বাসভবন গণভবন থেকে ভার্চুয়ালি যুক্ত ছিলেন। পুরস্কারপ্রাপ্ত ১১ জনের প্রত্যেককে ১ লাখ টাকা এবং সম্মাননা স্মারক দেওয়া হয়েছে।

শেখ হাসিনা বলেছেন, আমাদের যুব সমাজ আমাদের বড় একটা শক্তি। পৃথিবীর অনেক দেশ এখন বয়োবৃদ্ধদের দেশে পরিণত হয়েছে। আমরা সেটা হতে চাই না। কাজেই আমাদের এ যুব সমাজই পারবে বাংলাদেশটাকে উন্নত, সমৃদ্ধ সোনার বাংলা হিসেবে গড়ে জাতির পিতার স্বপ্ন পূরণ করতে।

তিনি বলেন, আমাদের লক্ষ্য হচ্ছে উন্নত বাংলাদেশ গড়া। ২০৪১ সালের মধ্যে উন্নত বাংলাদেশ গড়ব। সেই লক্ষ্য নিয়েই আমরা কর্মসূচি প্রণয়ন করেছি। ২০২১ সালের মধ্যে মধ্যম আয়ের দেশ করার কথা বলেছি। আজ আমরা উন্নয়শীল দেশের মর্যদা পেয়েছি। জাতির পিতার জন্মশতবার্ষিকী ও স্বাধীনতার সুবর্ণজয়ন্তীতে বাংলাদেশের গ্রাজুয়েশন হয়েছে। এটা যেন আর পিছিয়ে না যায়।

প্রধানমন্ত্রী আরো বলেন, এটা সামনের দিকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যেতে হবে। আজকে আমাদের তরুণ সমাজই হবে সেই ৪১ এর কারিগর। তারা দেশকে উন্নত-সমৃদ্ধ দেশ হিসেবে গড়ে তুলবে। প্রত্যেক মানুষ যেন সুন্দর জীবন পায় আমরা সে পথে এগিয়ে যাব।

হবিগঞ্জের বানিয়াচং উপজেলার ১১নং মক্রমপুর ইউনিয়নের ৯নং ওয়ার্ডের বড়কান্দি গ্রামে এক সালিশ বৈঠকে নেওয়াজ আলী(৫৫) নামের এক ব্যক্তির মৃত্যু হয়েছে।তবে এই মৃত্যু নিয়ে পরস্পরবিরোধী বক্তব্য পাওয়া গেছে।

কেউ বলছে স্ট্রোক করে মারা গেছেন, আবার কেউ বলছেন হাতাহাতি করার সময় আঘাতজনিত কারণে মারা গেছেন। বিষয়টি নিয়ে ধুম্রজাল সৃষ্টি হয়েছে। তিনি ওই গ্রামের মৃত মন্নর আলীর পুত্র। গতকাল শনিবার সন্ধ্যায় বড়কান্দি বাজারে শহিদ মিয়ার চায়ের দোকানে বিভিন্ন বিষয় নিয়ে ইউসুফ আলী ও জহুর আলীর মধ্যে বিরোধ নিয়ে সালিশ হয়।এ সময় উভয়পক্ষের মাঝে উত্তেজনা বিরাজ করে।এক পর্যায়ে হাতাহাতির ঘটনা ঘটে।এতে নেওয়াজ আলী অচেতন হয়ে পড়লে তাকে উদ্ধার করে হবিগঞ্জ সদর হাসপাতালে নিয়ে এলে চিকিৎসক তাকে মৃত ঘোষণা করেন।তবে কেউ কেউ বলছেন নেওয়াজ আলী হাতাহাতির কারণে আঘাত পেয়ে মারা গেছেন,আবার কেউ বলছেন স্ট্রোক করে মারা গেছে। এ নিয়ে পাল্টাপাল্টি বক্তব্য পাওয়া গেছে।তবে ৩য় পক্ষের লোকজন বিষয়টি নিয়ে ফায়দা লুটার চেষ্টা করছেন। এ বিষয়ে সদর হাসপাতালের চিকিৎসক জানান, জরুরি খাতায় বড ডেট অর্থাৎ রোগী আসার আগেই রাস্তায় মারা গেছে।

বানিয়াচং থানার ওসি অজয় চন্দ্র দেব জানান,এক সালিশে উত্তেজনা দেখা দিলে উভয়পক্ষে হাতাহাতি হয়।এরপর নেওয়াজ আলীকে হাসপাতালে নিয়ে এলে মারা যায়। পুলিশ সুরতহাল রিপোর্ট তৈরি করে মর্গে প্রেরন করে। তবে শরীরে আঘাতের কোনো চিহ্ন পাওয়া যায়নি। ময়নাতদন্ত প্রতিবেদন এলে মৃত্যুর কারণ জানা যাবে।

A child, approximately 12 years old, has been found in Sadarpur Upazila of Faridpur. The child is unable to say anything except his own name and that of his father.

The child's name is Sabbir and his father's name is Shahjahan. Sadarpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Subrata Goldar confirmed this information at around 2 pm on Saturday (September 10). Earlier, the local people left the child at the police station around 10 pm on Friday.

Police said that around 10 pm on Friday, some people in the area saw the child wandering around in a depressed state. Later, when they asked for his name and address, he could not say anything except his own name and father's name. Later, the locals left him at the police station.

Confirming the truth of the incident, Sadarpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Subrata Goldar said, "The child has lost his way and address. Now he is unable to say where his home is. একে অপরের ধর্মীয় রীতি-নীতিতে সর্বদা সব সময় পাশে থেকে সহযোগিতা করে। সনাতন ধর্মলম্বীদের সবচেয়ে বড় ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠান শারদীয় দুর্গাপুজায় সরকার সব ধরনের সহযোগিতা অব্যাহত রেখেছে। শেখ হাসিনা সরকার ক্ষমতায় থাকা কালীন সনাতন ধর্মলম্বীদের উপর কেউ অরাজকতা সৃষ্টি করতে পারেনি আগামীতেও কেউ অন্যায় করতে পারবে না। তিনি এসময় আরো বলেন, বঙ্গবন্ধুর কন্যা প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার সরকার উন্নয়ন বান্ধব। আওয়ামীলীগ সরকার দেশের সর্বত্রে উন্নয়ন কর্মকান্ড বাস্তবায়ন করে জনগনের জন্য একটি সুখী-সমৃদ্ধ দেশ গঠনের পথে এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে। বর্তমান সরকার সরকারি কর্মকর্তা কর্মচারীদের বেতন ভাতা বৃদ্ধিসহ বিভিন্ন সুযোগ সুবিধা দিয়ে যাচ্ছেন। একই সাথে সারাদেশের মত রামগঞ্জ উপজেলায়ও উন্নয়নে নানামুখী প্রকল্প গ্রহণ করে তা একের পর এক বাস্তবায়ন হতে চলেছে। তাই উপজেলার প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলের উন্নয়নমূলক কর্মকান্ড বাস্তবায়নে সকলকে আন্তরিক হয়ে কাজ করতে হবে। বর্তমান সরকারের ভিশন বাস্তবায়ন করতে হলে সেবা জনগণের দেঁৗড়গোড়ায় পেঁৗছে দিয়ে সরকারী প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোর কার্যক্রম আরো জোরদার করতে হবে। আইনশৃঙ্খলা কমিটির সভায় প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে তিনি জনগণের জানমালের নিরাপত্তায় আইনশৃঙ্খলা বাহিনীকে আরো তৎপর হওয়ার আহ্বান জানান।

স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা যায়, প্রতিদিনের ন্যায় আবদুল মতিন মুন্সী রবিবার সকাল ১০টায় ঘর থেকে বের হয়ে যায়। কিন্তু বেলা ৪টার সময় সে বাসায় না ফেরার কারনে পরিবারের লোকজন বিভিন্ন স্থানে খুজতে থাকে। এক পর্যায়ে মৃতের ছেলে তাদের নিজ চা দোকানে গিয়ে তার বাবাকে ঝুলন্ত অবস্থায় দেখে চিৎকার দিলে স্থানীয় লোকজন পুলিশকে খবর দিলে রামগঞ্জ থানা পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে লাশ উদ্ধার করে ময়না তদন্তের জন্য লক্ষ্মীপুর সদর হাসপাতাল মর্গে গ্রেরন করা হয়েছে।

নিহত আঃ মতিনের ভাই আবদুর রশিদ জানান, আমার ভাই মতিন মুন্সীর ১ম স্ত্রী মারা যাওয়ার পর আবার ২য় স্ত্রী খুকি বেগম নামের একজনকে বিয়ে করে। ২য় বিয়ের পর থেকে পারিবারিক অশান্তি চলে আসছিলো। তবে কি কারনে ফাঁস দিয়েছিলো সেটা আমি জানি না।

রামগঞ্জ থানা ওসি (ভারপ্রাপ্ত) কার্তিক চন্দ্র বিশ্বাস বলেন, মৃর্তের লাশ উদ্ধার করে প্রাথমিক তদন্ত শেষে ময়না তদন্তের জন্য লক্ষ্মীপুর সদর হাসপাতাল মর্গে গ্রেরন করা হয়েছে।
