লক্ষ্মীপুরের রামগঞ্জে উপজেলা ও পৌর বিএনপির নব গঠিত আহবায়ক কমিটি বাতিলের দাবিতে ৭নভেম্বর (সোমবার) সকালে পৌর বিএনপির সাবেক সদস্য সচিব আলমগীর হোসেনের বাসভবনের সামনে উপজেলা বিএনপির একাংশ সংবাদ সম্মেলন ও প্রতিবাদ সমাবেশ করেছেন। সাবেক সংসদ সদস্য ও উপজেলা বিএনপির আহবায়ক নাজিম উদ্দিন আহম্মদের সভাপতিত্বে রামগঞ্জ উপজেলা বিএনপির সাবেক সাধারণ সম্পাদক ভিপি আবদুর রহিমের সঞ্চালনায় প্রতিবাদ সমাবেশে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিএনপির নেতা এল রহমান, শাহবুদ্দিন তুর্কি, পৌর বিএনপির সাবেক আহবায়ক জাকির হোসেন মোল্লা, যুগ্ন-আহবায়ক তোফাজ্জল হোসেন বাচ্চু, সদস্য সচিব আলমগীর হোসেন, উপজেলা ছাত্রদলের সদস্য সচিব রাকিব হাসান, পৌর ছাত্রদলের আহবায়ক শাহিন আলম মুন্না, সদস্য সচিব হুমায়ুন কবির সাদ্দাম,পৌর যুবদল নেতা সুমন চৌধুরী, শেখ পিন্টু, রাসেল ভূইয়া, উপজেলা ও পৌর বিএনপির সকল অঙ্গ সংগঠনের নেতা-কর্মীরা।

এসময় উপজেলা বিএনপির আহবায়ক নাজিম উদ্দিন আহম্মেদ বলেন,লক্ষ্মীপুর জেলা বিএনপি কর্তৃক ঘোষিত নতুন আহবায়ক কমিটিতে ত্যাগী, পরিক্ষিত, হামলা-মামলার শিকার, বাড়ি-ঘর হারানো, ব্যবসায়িক ভাবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ ও বিভিন্ন ভাবে আহত নেতাকর্মীদের বাদ দিয়ে, জাতীয় নির্বাচনে ধানের শীষের বিপক্ষে অবস্থানকারী, আওয়ামীলীগের সাথে লিয়াজু করা ব্যক্তিবর্গ, অযোগ্য কর্মীদের নিয়ে এই কমিটি ঘোষনা করা হয়েছে। আমরা এই আহবায়ক কমিটি বাতিলের জন্য আজকের এই সাংবাদিক সম্মেলন ও প্রতিবাদ সভার আয়োজন করেছি। যদি এই উপজেলা ও পৌর বিএনপির আহবায়ক কমিটি বিলুপ্ত না হয়, তবে আমরা গন অনশন গনপদত্যাগ করতে বাদ্য হবে বলে জানান তারা।

অপরদিকে একই সময় ৩কিলোমিটার অদুরে রামগঞ্জ পৌরসভার নন্দনপুর সরকারী প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় মাঠে উপজেলা বিএনপির নবগঠিত কমিটির সদস্য সচিব মাহবুবুর রহমান বাহার ও পৌর বিএনপির আহবায়ক শেখ কামরুল ইসলামের নেতৃত্বে ৭নভেম্বর জাতীয় বিপ্লব ও সংহতি দিবস উপলক্ষে আলোচনা সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। এসময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন পৌর বিএনপির যুগ্ন আহবায়ক তোফায়েল আহম্মেদ, যুবদলের যুগ্ন আহবায়ক মনোয়ার হোসেন,নজরুল ইসলাম পিন্টু, তাওহীদ হোসেন মারুফ ভুইয়া,আরঙ্গজেব বাবলু,জেলা যুব‌‌দল নেতা আবুল বাসার চতু,কবির হোসেন কানন,আব্দুস ছাত্তার মজুমদার,মিজান ভুইয়া,স্বেচ্ছাসেবকদলের নেতা দুলাল হোসেন,এমরান হোসেন,খোরশেদ রাব্বানী প্রমুখ।

নেত্রকোণা জেলার মদন উপজেলায় বিএনপির নেতাকর্মীদের সাথে আওয়ামীলীগ ও পুলিশের সংঘর্ষের ঘটনায় বিশেষ ক্ষমতায় আইনে দায়েরকৃত মামলায় বিএনপি ও এর অঙ্গ সহযোগী সংগঠনের ৭৩ নেতাকর্মী সোমবার আদালতে হাজিরা দিতে এলে বিচারক তাদের জামিন না মঞ্জুর করে কারাগারে পাঠিয়েছে।

নেত্রকোনা জুডিশিয়াল ম্যাজিষ্ট্রেট আদালত-১ এর বিচারক মোঃ মনজুরুল ইসলাম এই আদেশ প্রদান করেন।

কারাগারে পাঠানোর ৭৩ জন আসামির মধ্যে উপজেলা বিএনপির সভাপতি চাঁনগাও ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান এন আলম, সাধারণ সম্পাদক সাবেক উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান রফিকুল ইসলামসহ উপজেলা ও ইউনিয়ন পর্যায়ের বিএনপির ও এর অঙ্গ সহযোগী সংগঠনের নেতা-কর্মী রয়েছে।

এ ঘটনায় মদন থানার এস আই দেবাশীষ সরকার বাদী হয়ে বিশেষ ক্ষমতা আইনে বিএনপির ২৯ জনের নাম উল্লেখ করে ৩০ আগস্ট একটি মামলা করে। অপরদিকে একই ঘটনাকে কেন্দ্র করে আওয়ামীলীগ নেতা ইসলাম উদ্দিন বাদী হয়ে বিশেষ ক্ষমতা আইনে বিএনপির ৭৫ জনের নাম উল্লেখ করে গত ২রা সেপ্টেম্বর আরেকটি মামলা দায়ের করে।

পরে বিএনপির নেতাকর্মীরা উচ্চ আদালতের নির্দেশে ৬ সপ্তাহের জামিনে মুক্ত থাকার পর আজ সোমবার নিন্ম আদালতে হাজির হয়ে পুনরায় জামিন আবেদন করলে আদালতের বিচারক তাদের জামিন আবেদন না মঞ্জুর করে আসামীদেরকে কারাগারে পাঠানোর নির্দেশ দেন।

Ramganj Upazila BNP of Laxmipur district has been formed after 10 years and after 7 years the convening committee of Municipal BNP has been formed.

On October 29 (Saturday) night, the district BNP convener Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, Jogn Ahbatk Advocate Hachibur Rahman and Member Secretary Sahab Uddin Sabu approved the Ahbatak Committee with Ramganj Upazila 61 and Municipality 47 members.

Former MP and former president of Upazila BNP Nazim Uddin Ahmed has been appointed as Ahab of Upazila BNP, former General Secretary Mahabubur Rahman Bahar VPK Member Secretary and Upazila Jubo Dal former Organizing Secretary Sheikh Kamruzzaman as Municipal BNP Ahbatak and former Member Secretary Alamgir Hossain Michata as Member Secretary for the next three months.
