Bangladesh's Takreem ranks 3rd among 111 countries in Quran competition

Hafez of Bangladesh has won the third place in the 42nd King Abdul Aziz International Quran Competition held under the supervision of the Saudi government. Saleh Ahmad Takrim.

The final phase of the international competition started from September 10. The final phase of the competition was completed yesterday. This competition was attended by 153 people from 111 countries in the world and gave 27 lakh Rital Award to 15 contestants who passed the final phase.

Note that Hafez Saleh Ahmad Takrim is a student of Markazu Fazil Quran Al Islami Madrasa in Dhaka. Abdur Rahman is a teacher and mother is a housewife. Earlier, Takrim was the first of 29 countries to compete in the 38th International Quran Competition held in Tehran, Iran on March 5.




IGP Benazir Ahmed is retiring

Inspector General of Bangladesh Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed will retire on September 30.

A notification in this regard has been issued by the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday (September 22).

The notification was signed by Deputy Secretary Dhananjay Kumar Das, who was notified in the notification, said Dr. Benazir Ahmed, BPM (Bar), BP-6388000021, Inspector General of Police, Department of Police, Dhaka 30-09-2022 A.D. 59 years of 2015, the Government Service Act, 2018 (Act No. 57 of 2018) has been given retirement and post-retirement leave benefits as per the rules.

Benazir Ahmed became Inspector General of Police on 15 April 2020. Earlier, on December 30, 2014, Benazir Ahmed was appointed as the Director General of the Elite Force RAB of Bangladesh.

On January 7, 2015, he was praised for his role in suppressing various crimes including militancy, terrorism, drugs, and the pursuit of RAB.




39 months exemption for government job applications

The government has given the maximum limit for applying for candidates for direct recruitment in government jobs (except BCS).

Instructions have been issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday.

According to the notification, those whose service boards have ended on March 25, 2020 can apply in the notification published till June 30, 2023.

It is also stated that those ministries, departments and directorates under the constituent autonomous nationalized institutions have not been able to publish the recruitment circular due to the Covid-19 situation for direct recruitment to government jobs (except BCS) in various categories of government jobs (except BCS), those offices will have the opportunity to apply if the age of the candidates for the application for the post of 30th June 2023 will be within the highest age limit.

Three youths jailed for beating child in Lakshmipur

3 accused in the case of beating 4 children in the sugarcane field to play in Lakshmipur have been sent to jail.

30 injured in police-BNP clash in Munshiganj

BNP leaders and workers clashed with the police in Munshiganj.

Two arrested with stolen motorcycle in Lakshmipur

Fake doctor in Jhenaidah sentenced to 15 days in prison

A mobile court sentenced a dentist in Jhenaidah to 15 days without labor.
