অতিরিক্ত জেলা প্রশাসক হিসেবে ১১ কর্মকর্তাকে পদায়ন করেছে সরকার।

আজ বুধবার (৯ নভেম্বর) জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয়ের মাঠ প্রশাসন-২ শাখা থেকে এ বিষয়ে একটি প্রজ্ঞাপন জারি করা হয়েছে।

মন্ত্রণালয়ের উপসচিব ভাস্কর দেবনাথ বাপ্পি স্বাক্ষরিত প্রজ্ঞাপনে জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয়ের সিনিয়র সহকারী সচিব (অতিরিক্ত জেলা প্রশাসক হিসেবে নোয়াখালী বদলি আদেশাধীন) পঙ্কজ বড়ুয়াকে কুমিল্লার অতিরিক্ত জেলা প্রশাসক, জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয়ের সিনিয়র সহকারী সচিব (বিশেষ ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা) কাজী মহুয়া মমতাজকে কিশোরগঞ্জে, বস্ত্র ও পাট মন্ত্রণালয়ের সচিবের একান্ত সচিব মাহফুজুল আলম মাসুমকে ময়মনসিংহে, জোনাল সেটেলমেন্ট অফিস বগুড়ার চার্জ অফিসার (সহকারী নিয়ন্ত্রক, সিসিএ অফিস ঢাকা হিসেবে বদলির আদেশাধীন) এস এম জাকির হোসেনকে নওগাঁয় বদলি করা হয়েছে।

ময়মনসিংহ পরিবেশ অধিদফতরের উপপরিচালক রুবেল মাহমুদকে কিশোরগঞ্জ, ধর্ম প্রতিমন্ত্রীর একান্ত সচিব মো. মামুনুল করিমকে গাজীপুর, কিশোরগঞ্জের ইটনার উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার (সহকারী রেজিস্ট্রার সিসিএ অফিস ঢাকা হিসেবে বদলির আদেশাধীন) নাফিসা আক্তারকে টাঙ্গাইল, পরিবেশ মন্ত্রণালয়ের সিনিয়র সহকারী সচিব আতিকুল ইসলামকে চট্টগ্রামের অতিরিক্ত জেলা প্রশাসক করা হয়েছে।

এছাড়া জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয়ের সিনিয়র সহকারী সচিব (বিশেষ ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা) অজিত দেবকে নোয়াখালী, ঝালকাঠির নলছিটি উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার (অতিরিক্ত জেলা প্রশাসক হিসেবে বরগুনা বদলি আদেশাধীন) বেগম রুম্পা সিকদারকে বরিশাল এবং লালমনিরহাটের অতিরিক্ত জেলা প্রশাসক মো. আব্দুল কাদেরকে পঞ্চগড়ে অতিরিক্ত জেলা প্রশাসক করা হয়েছে।

প্রজ্ঞাপনে বলা হয়, অতিরিক্ত জেলা প্রশাসক হিসেবে বদলি কর্মকর্তাকে তাদের নিজ নিজ অধিক্ষেত্রে (পদায়িত জেলায়) অতিরিক্ত জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেটের ক্ষমতা অর্পণ করা হলো। জনস্বার্থে জারি করা এই আদেশ অবিলম্বে কার্যকর হবে।

Three fishermen were shot dead in a late-night attack by pirates on the Meghna River in Ramgati, Lakshmipur. During this, the pirates took away a fisherman named Mohiuddin (35).

The incident took place in the river on the west side of Char Abdullah Union at around 12:20 am on Tuesday (November 8). Fishermen rescued them at around 4 am and admitted them to the hospital.

Ferdous Ahmed, inspector (in-charge) of Barakheri Naval Police Outpost, confirmed the matter.

The injured are Md. Abbas Majhi (28), Md. Faruk (35) and Md. Yusuf (27). Abbas is the son of Tosir Ahmed of Charfalkon area of Kamalnagar upazila, Yusuf is the son of Md. Yunus of Paschim Charkalakopa village of Ramgati and Faruk is the son of Alamgir Farazi of Subarna Char in Noakhali.

The missing Mohiuddin is the son of Nanu Faraji of Subarnachar area of Noakhali.

Injured Abbas Majhi said, "We were preparing to cast nets in the river. Suddenly, pirates fired at our boat from a distance. Three of us were shot. The pirates took our colleague Mohiuddin away."

Md. Liton, a fishmonger at Ludhua Fish Ghat in Kamalnagar, said that the robbery incident took place on Abbas Majhi's boat at midnight. After receiving the news, we informed Kamalnagar Upazila Fisheries Officer Abdul Kuddus and Alexander Coast Guard Contingent Commander (CC). The police said that the Coast Guard would go if the administration went. After informing them, the fishmongers themselves took the risk and rescued the injured fishermen from the spot.

AK Azad, the doctor on duty at Sadar Hospital, said, "Three patients with gunshot wounds have arrived. They have been admitted. They are under observation."

Ferdous Ahmed, inspector (in-charge) of Barakheri Naval Police Outpost, said, "The robbery incident took place in the Meghna River in Daulatkhan area of Bhola. I heard about the incident at night."

Meanwhile, at 7:30 am on Wednesday (November 9), Ramgati Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Alamgir Hossain told the media that he had no information about the incident. Later, he took information about the injured and missing prisoners from media personnel.

On Monday (November 7) night, the girl's mother filed the case with the name of 11 and accused 7-8 unidentified persons and the police arrested two accused in the case.

The arrested are Mozazem Hossain (35) son of Hasan Ahmed of West Char Majid and Didar Hossain (30) son of Mofizur Rahman.

The West Char Majid Ashratan Project area of Subarnachar was attacked, vandalized and looted by a group of terrorist victims last Sunday night. The terrorists took the householder and his wife out of the house and beat up their meteor in one stage.

Inspector (Investigation) of Charjabbar Police Station, Janal Abedin said that the statement of the case includes 11 names including mentioning the names of 11 people. 7-8 unidentified persons have been accused in the night raids and the police have arrested 2 accused named Motazzem Hossain and Didar in the case, while the operation continues to nab the rest of the accused.

নেত্রকোণার দুর্গাপুরে দরিদ্র মেধাবী শিক্ষার্থী শিলা হাজং এর পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছে নেত্রকোনা জেলা প্রশাসন। রোববার নেত্রকোণা জেলার জেলা প্রশাসক অঞ্জনা খান মজলিশ এই শিক্ষার্থীকে তার কার্যালয়ে এনে এক লক্ষ পঁচিশ হাজার টাকা তুলে দেন।

কিছুদিন আগে একটি দৈনিকে “তিন বছরের বেতন ও হোস্টেল ভাড়ার প্রায় দেড় লাখ টাকা পরিশোধ করতে না পারায় পরীক্ষায় বসা অনিশ্চিত শিক্ষার্থীর” – এমন সংবাদ প্রকাশের পর বিষয়টি নজরে আসে নেত্রকোণার জেলা প্রশাসকের। এরপর তিনি দুর্গাপুর উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার মোঃ রাজীব-উল-আহসান এর মাধ্যমে ওই শিক্ষার্থীর সার্বিক খবর নেন।

জানা গেছে,শিলা হাজং ময়মনসিংহের ব্রাহ্ম পল্লি এলাকার স্কুলার নার্সিং ইনস্টিটিউশনের শিক্ষার্থী । তার বাড়ি দুর্গাপুরের কুল্লাগড়া ইউনিয়নে। শিলার বড় ভাই পোশাক শ্রমিক, রঘুনাথ হাজং, তিনি জানান,তিনি পোশাক কারখানায় চাকরি করে যে টাকা পান তা দিয়ে তার অসুস্থ মায়ের চিকিৎসা আর সংসারের ভরণপোষণ কোনভাবে চলে। কিন্তু একমাত্র বোন শিলাকে উচ্চশিক্ষিত করার ইচ্ছা তার। রঘুনাথ বলেন, তার বাবা রবীন্দ্র হাজং দিনমজুরি করে যে সামান্য অর্থ উপার্জন করেন তাতে সংসারের ব্যয়ভার বহন করা ও শিলার পড়াশোনার খরচ জোগানো সম্ভব নয়। তাই নার্সিং ইনস্টিটিউটে এতো বড় অঙ্কের বকেয়া পড়ে গিয়েছিলো। তবে সম্মানিত জেলা প্রশাসক যে সহযোগিতা করেছেন তাতে শিলার পড়াশোনায় আর কোন বাধা রইলো না। আমরা তার প্রতি চিরকৃতজ্ঞ।

নেত্রকোণার জেলা প্রশাসক অঞ্জনা খান মজলিশ বলেন,“ওই শিক্ষার্থীর পড়াশুনার যাবতীয় খরচ বহন করবে জেলা প্রশাসন।
এসময় তিনি শিলা হাজংকে নার্সিং এর মহান পেশার মাধ্যমে ভবিষ্যতে একইভাবে সেবার দ্বারা সাধারণ মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর আহবান জানান৷

জেলা প্রশাসনের সহায়তা পেয়ে শিলা হাজং বলেন,“আমি কথা বলার ভাষা খুঁজে পাচ্ছি না।জেলা প্রশাসক স্যারকে আমার ধন্যবাদ কিংবা কৃতজ্ঞতা দেওয়ার মত কোন ভাষা নেই। তিনি আমাদের কাছে ঈশ্বরের মতো হয়ে এসেছেন। এই টাকা না পেলে আমার পরীক্ষা দেয়া হতো না।আমি তার এই মহানুভবতার কথা সারাজীবন মনে রাখব।”

৬ই নভেম্বর নেত্রকোণা জেলাত আদর্শ বালিকা উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ে Movers Programme এবং Gender Equity &Empowerment Project (GEEP) এর একটি সম্মিলিত কর্মশালা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

The police have launched a search operation to find the 'big brother', Arman Hossain, who introduced himself as a Chhatra League leader, and his followers.

It is alleged that Arman, who introduced himself as a Chhatra League leader, has been creating chaos in the area by attacking people for no reason or reason. Most recently, Arman and his followers have hacked to death two brothers named Sharif Uddin and Md. Mohan.

Meanwhile, on Sunday (November 6) afternoon, Superintendent of Police (SP) Mahfuzzaman Ashraf himself went to Arman's house to arrest him. At that time, the SP was accompanied by the officer-in-charge (OC) of Sadar Model Police Station, Mosleh Uddin. Later, the police arrested a suspect named Hasan. However, it was not possible to arrest Arman as he was absconding.

The accused Arman is the son of Zahirul Islam of Charmansa village in Bhabaniganj union of Sadar upazila. Although he identifies himself as a Chhatra League leader, he does not hold any rank or title. It is learnt from locals that he has an active force.

Local sources have said that for a long time, Arman has formed a gang in Charbhuta and Charmansa villages and has been committing various crimes including extortion, vandalism, drug sales and consumption. He has beaten people for no reason. There are various allegations against him, including harassing school and madrasa students on the streets. The locals have directly complained to the Superintendent of Police.

Laxmipur Superintendent of Police (SP) Mahfuzzaman Ashraf said, "I have heard that Arman has created a gang by introducing himself as the elder brother in the area. He wants to create anarchy in the area. That will never be allowed to happen. One of the members of that group named Hasan has been arrested. The juvenile gang members will be dealt with firmly."

বিএনপির-সমাবেশে-যাওয়­ার-পথে-কার্গোচাপায়-য­ুবকের-মৃত্যুসগীর মিয়ার মৃত্যুতে শোকের ছায়া নেমে এসেছে তার পরিবারে।
চিকিৎসক মো. শামসুজ্জোহা শামস বলেন, ‘হাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসার আগেই ওই ব্যক্তির মৃত্যু হয়েছে। তার বুকের বাম পাশে এবং মাথার বাম দিকে জখমের চিহ্ন রয়েছে।’

বিএনপির বরিশাল বিভাগীয় মহাসমাবেশে যোগ দেয়ার পথে কার্গোচাপায় এক যুবক নিহত হয়েছেন।

বরগুনা সদর উপজেলার ললটোলা ইউনিয়নের বিষখালী নদীর নলটোনা পয়েন্টে শুক্রবার সন্ধ্যায় এই ঘটনা ঘটে।

নিহত ২৬ বছর বয়সী সগীর মিয়া নলটনা ইউনিয়নের গর্জন বুনিয়া এলাকার ইদ্রিস মিয়ার ছেলে।

বিএনপির সমাবেশে যোগ দিতে পানিতে চলাচলকারী কার্গোতে ওঠার সময় কার্গো ও নৌকার চাপে পৃষ্ট হয়ে মারা যান ওই যুবক।

নলটোনা ইউনিয়নের সাবেক চেয়ারম্যান গোলাম কবির জানান, বিএনপি সমর্থিত নলটোনা ইউনিয়নের চেয়ারম্যান শফিকুজ্জামান মাহফুজ নলটোনা থেকে বরিশাল বিভাগীয় মহাসমাবেশে লোক নিতে কার্গো ঠিক করে রাখেন। ওই কার্গোটি পাথরঘাটা থেকে ছেড়ে বিষখালী নদীর নলোটোনা পয়েন্টে ভেড়ার সময় সেখানে থাকা একটি নৌকা সরাতে গিয়ে কার্গো ও নৌকার চাপে পিষ্ট হয়ে সগীর মিয়া আহত হন। পরে লোকজন ধরাধরি করে তাকে তীরে তুললে সেখানেই সগীরের মৃত্যু হয়।

বরগুনা জেনারেল হাসপাতালের কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক মো. শামসুজ্জোহা শামস বলেন, ‘হাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসার আগেই ওই ব্যক্তির মৃত্যু হয়েছে। তার বুকের বাম পাশে এবং মাথার বাম দিকে জখমের চিহ্ন রয়েছে।’

বরগুনার সদর থানা ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা মোহাম্মদ আলী বলেন, ‘আমরা যতটুকু শুনেছি, বিভাগীয় মহাসমাবেশে যোগ দিতে পাথরঘাটা থেকে একটি কার্গো ছেড়ে এসেছিল। ললটোলা থেকে আরও লোকজন নেয়ার জন্য সেটি তীরে ভেড়ার সময় সগীর মিয়া নামের এক ব্যক্তি কার্গোর চাপায় আঘাতপ্রাপ্ত হয়। পরে তাকে উদ্ধার করে বরগুনা জেনারেল হাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসলে চিকিৎসক মৃত ঘোষণা করে।’

বরগুনা সদর থানা ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা আলী আহম্মেদ আরো বলেন, ‘এ ঘটনায় পরিবারের কেউ এখনো থানায় অভিযোগ করেনি। অভিযোগ পেলে পুলিশ তদন্ত করে আইনগত ব্যবস্থা নেবে।’
