Due to the cyclone Sitrang, the power line was torn in Lakshmipur, the entire district was without electricity.<\/p>\n

The electricity did not come around 12:00 on Tuesday, the rural electricity authorities have learned that it may take two days to normalize the electricity situation, and 120 teams of the entire district of rural electricity are working from this morning.<\/p>\n

Due to the impact of the cyclone, heavy rains started in the district after yesterday afternoon, and there was a strong wind which caused the trees to be destroyed in different places, along with the power lines being broken and numerous electricity poles were broken.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Residents of the district are suffering from continuous electricity. Zakir Hossain, a resident of Kamalnagar upazila, said, \u2018The electricity has gone on Monday morning, it has not yet come. We are unhappy to be without electricity for a long time.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Zakir Hossain, general manager of Laxmipur Palli Vidyut Samiti, said that there were numerous trees on the power line, the poles were broken and he was also torn.<\/p>\n

He added that there are 5 lakh 3000 customers of Galita Palli Vidyut, till now the entire district is working to normalize the situation. 120 teams are working to normalize the situation.
