PM calls on Meanmar to stop violence in Rakhine immediately

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called on Mitaanmar to stop violence in Rakhine immediately. She urged the international community to stop the torture and violence against the Rohingya and bring them back to the international community to put pressure on the Meanmar.

The Prime Minister made this call while speaking at the Ukhitar Kutupalong refugee camp in Cox's Bazar on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister also said that the Rohingya refugees who came to Palali from Mitanmar have been sheltered by the humanitarian aspect. He also urged to be careful so that no one can capitalize on their disunity and take care of their disunity.

Earlier, the Prime Minister reached the Ukhita Kutupalong refugee camp in Cox's Bazar at 11:30 today to see the Rohingyas in Bangladesh where he distributed relief among the Rohingya refugees there.

On August 24, a rebel group attacked a police camp in Rakhine state of Mitanmar, which was being carried out in the name of killing, rape, setting fire to their homes in the name of army operation in Rakhine state of Meanmar. A few new, old 7 lakh Rohingyas have taken shelter.
