Teacher insulted by Chhatra League leader for protesting eve-teasing

Ishapur Union Chhatra League President Monirul Hasan Limon of Ramganj Upazila has been accused of attacking a teacher named Saiful Islam for protesting the harassment of the student. The incident took place in front of Lautli Bhui, 8 pm on October 16.

The victim is an assistant teacher at Dr. Rashid Ahmed High School and College.

On October 17 (Monday) afternoon, the students of Lautli Dr. Rashid Ahmed High School and College formed a human chain to protest the incident and demand exemplary punishment of the attacking Chhatra League leader Limon. It is known that on October 11, the college of the eleventh grade student of Lautli High School and College was harassed and beaten up with the brother of Ramganj Upazila Ichapur Unity Chhatra League President Monirul Bashar Limon.

The teacher had an argument with Esmut Limon and the teacher got angry and attacked the teacher in the night after his other associates, and later the locals rescued him and admitted him to the hospital, said the Chhatra League leader Limon is a known drug dealer. As the area is bordering, Limon has been dealing with his uncle Abdur Chalam Mintu for a long time, and they are afraid of beating people when they say something.

UP member Billal Hossain said that the area has been trading drugs by selling the name of Limon Chhatra League for a long time and the local people are fed up with his torture, he is a known drug dealer.

If you come to the area and inquire, everyone will say it. The accused Chhatra League leader Monirul Bashar Limon denied the attack on the teacher and said, "Saiul Master's people have attacked me."
