6 candidates in the fray with boats in Kamalnagar

In the Kamalnagar Upazila election in Lakshmipur, five rebels, including two Jubo League leaders, are fighting for the chairmanship. The leaders of the Awami League and its affiliated organizations are competing against the party after not getting the party nomination. However, they are not rebels of their own; they are claiming independence. There are many Awami League rebels who did not participate in the BNP election. However, the boatmen and boatmen are hoping that the boat will not sink no matter how much the storm comes. The third phase of the Kamalnagar Upazila election will be held on March 24. More than a dozen candidates were seeking nomination from the Awami League here. Four names have been sent to the center. Finally, Upazila Awami League President AKM Nurul Amin Master got the boat ticket. The rebels against the boat candidate are 14-party alliance president Advocate Anwarul Haque (cup-plate), Upazila Youth League convener Mejbah Uddin Ahmed Bappi (pencil), joint convener Ahsan Ullah Hiron (pineapple), District Sechchhasebak League cultural secretary Abdur Rahman Didar (helicopter), former Chhatra League leader Nurul Amin Opi (motorcycle). The candidates are campaigning to win the election. Meetings and processions are busy in the markets and villages. They are going door to door seeking votes, holding yard meetings. They are making various promises. It has been seen that leaders and activists of different levels of Awami League are seeking votes under the boat symbol. Public representatives (chairmen-members) are also working towards the victory of the boat. The Awami League has been seen united to ensure the victory of the boat. Mass mobilization and street meetings have been seen in every ward. Kamalnagar Upazila Awami League President AKM Nurul Amin Master, who is the candidate for the boat symbol, said, "Awami League is united to make the boat win. Leaders and activists of all levels are also voting for the boat. To continue the trend of development, everyone will strengthen the hands of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina by voting for the boat." Upazila 14-party alliance president Advocate Anwarul Haque said, "In the past few days, I have worked for the development of the party and the upazila in Kamalnagar. I have become a chairman candidate with the determination to serve." Most of the Jubo League leaders and activists are seeking votes for the rebel candidate, Upazila Jubo League convener Mejbah Uddin Bappi.
