Incidentally, unauthorized Lagunas have been operating recklessly on the Lakshmipur-Ramgati-Kamalnagar road carrying passengers. Incompetent and unlicensed drivers-helpers are in the driver's seat of these Lagunas. Due to this, accidents on this road have increased at an alarming rate. Several people have lost their lives prematurely. Angered by this, locals have staged protests and human chains at various places demanding the closure of Lagunas several times.
