2 fishermen fined for catching mother hilsa in Padma River in Charbhadrasan

Charbhadrasan upazila of Faridpur has arrested 2 fishermen in a mobile court operation for the crime of catching mother hilsa in violation of the ban on Padma river.

Later, the case was settled with a total of 4 thousand rupees fined 2 thousand to each of them. The case was handled by the upazila executive officer and executive magistrate Tanjila Kabir Trapa.

During the operation, the 50,000 meter of the 5000 meter of the current was destroyed in the fire and distributed the seized hilsa among the needy of the locality Mathabhanga Asharyan project.
