‘Biju’ begins with flowers floating in Chengi river
The whole Pahai township is now in a mood of festivals around this social festival of the small ethnic groups living in Chittagong Hill Tracts.
According to the custom of Chakma community, the first day of the festival is called ‘Ful Biju’. This morning, the house will be decorated with flowers collected from Ban-Paha.. After that, the flowers of the Ganges are worshiped on the banks of the river or canal.
