Maldives President to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Tariq Rahman

The President of Maldives will come to Dhaka on Tuesday (February 17) to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected government of Bangladesh. Mohammad Muizzu is expected to further strengthen the close bilateral relations between the South Asian countries.

Maldives Foreign Minister Dr. will be the traveling companion of President Muizzu. Abdullah Khalil.

A senior official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh gave this information on Monday evening.

 

Muizju congratulated the party's chairman Tarek Rahman for the election of BNP in the 13th national parliamentary election held on February 12.

The President of Maldives has also expressed his interest in working closely with the new leadership of Bangladesh.
