15 ml cubic feet of gas will be available in the day to start digging new wells

Bangladesh Gas Fields Company Limited (BGFCL) has started the excavation of a new well in Titus Gas Field in Brahmanbaria. On Monday afternoon, the director of Petrobangla, Engineer Md. Shouteb, who opened the excavation of well number 28 at the ‘C’ location of Titus Gas Field in Suhilpur of Brahmanbadar Sadar Upazila, is expected to add at least 15 ml of cubic feet of gas to the grid every day after excavating this well.

After the inauguration of the excavation project, the director of Petrobangla said. Shoteb said, "The production of gas fields in BGFCL has already been done. If the projects are implemented in new wells and the overarching projects, the country's energy crisis will be over a lot. This is the case with Titas' 31 and Bakhrabad gas field No. 11 deep wells project undertaking. Petrobangla is working tirelessly to meet the energy demand.

Those concerned said that in 2012, the survey was conducted in the ‘C’ location of Titus gas field in 2012. After that, in 2020, the plan to dig three new wells in Titus gas field in the hands of the survey report in 2020.

A Chinese company is working on the excavation of well No. 28 of Titus. It will take two months to complete the excavation. After the excavation, the well will be supplied to the national grid of about 15 millimeters per day.
