Aman rice success in Netrakona, smiles on farmers' faces

There is a bumper yield of Netrakona Aman paddy and the price is good and the farmer has a smile on his face.
Netrakona is mainly food-sufficient and rice surplus. It has been seen that the farmers' fields are filled with golden grains of Aman paddy. The golden rice grains are swaying in the air. The farmers are busy with the smell of new rice.
Talking to the farmers, it is known that the planting of Aman seedlings is delayed at the beginning of the current Aman season due to lack of rain and drought, but the weather has been favorable in the next season, but there is a bumper yield.
The whole year's food for the whole year, meeting the food needs of the cow as a cow food and the price of rice is good, the farmers have a smile on their faces.
Bachchu Mita, a farmer of Rajendrapur village in Netrakona Sadar, said that Aman has been harvesting paddy. This time the yield of paddy is good and we are happy to get more price in Bai.
Abul Mita, a farmer of Dulli village in Kendu Upazila, said, "I have cultivated paddy in 20 cuts. We have got more than 5 perks per khata. We are able to sell paddy at 1250 to 1300 taka per maund.
Talking to some more farmers, they expressed their anger, saying that the price of fertilizer diesel pesticides as well as the price of all things has increased, the farmers have been sighed. If they used to buy paddy directly from the farmers at a price of Tk 1500, then the farmers would have been more interested in paddy cultivation.
Local agriculture officials said that those who had planted Aman paddy of early varieties, they cut their paddy in about 15/20 days ago. They will be able to cultivate mustard cultivation, potato, eggplant and winter vegetables as a crop crop in that land. It will provide money for Boro paddy cultivation in the next Samt. Farmers are interested in early Aman paddy cultivation in short periods.
