How to know the results of primary final and JSC-JDC

The results of the Primary Education Completion and Ebtedayee Education Completion and Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations are being published on Saturday (December 30). The results will be available through SMS on mobile and the internet.

Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman and Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will hand over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 11 am and 12 noon, respectively, at Ganabhaban. Later, the two ministers will hold a press conference at the Secretariat to present the results in detail.

The Minister of Mass Education will present the details of the results at a press conference at the Secretariat at 1 pm, said the ministry's public relations officer Rabindranath Roy. And the press conference of the Ministry of Education will be held at 2 pm, said public relations officer Afrazur Rahman. From then on, students will receive the results.

The results of the preliminary final and Ebtedayi will be available at www.dpe.gov.bd and http://dperesults.teletalk.com.bd.

Also, from any mobile, you can get the result by typing DPE followed by a space, then the student's ID followed by a space, then the year. And for the Ebtedayi results, you can send an SMS to 16222 by typing EBT followed by the student's ID number followed by a space, then the year.

JSC-JDC results will be available on the websites of the education boards in addition to www.educationboardresults.gov.bd.

You can also get the results by typing JSC/JDC in the mobile message option, followed by a space, followed by board, followed by a space, followed by roll number, followed by a space, followed by 2017, in an SMS.

A total of 30 lakh 96 thousand 75 students participated in the primary and ebtedayi final examinations held from November 19 to 26. Of these, 28 lakh 4 thousand 509 participated in the primary final examinations and 2 lakh 91 thousand 566 participated in the ebtedayi. The examinations were held at 7 thousand 267 centers in the country and 12 centers abroad, with a total of 600 marks, 100 marks in each of the six subjects.

In primary education, the number of male students is 1,299,985 and the number of female students is 1,545,524. In pre-primary education, the number of male students is 1,53,152 and the number of female students is 1,38,414.

The primary final examination for fifth grade students began in 2009. And in Ebtedayi, this examination has been taking place since 2010. Although results were given based on departments for the first two years, the final results of younger students have been given using the grading system since 2011. Earlier, the examination time was two hours, but from 2013, half an hour was increased to two and a half hours.

The JSC-JDC exams began on November 1 and ended on November 18. This year, students from 28,628 educational institutions participated in 2,834 centers. The total number of examinees is 2,468,820. Out of these, 1,144,778 are male students and 1,324,042 are female students.

The total number of candidates for JSC is 20,090,277 and for JDC, 378,543. The number of male students in JSC is 9,71,336 and the number of female students is 1,118,941. The number of male students in JDC is 1,73,442 and the number of female students is 2,05,101.

This time, 659 students participated in the exam at nine centers abroad.
