Relations with India must be on the basis of equality: Kalyan Party

Bangladesh Kalyan Party said that India-Bangladesh friendship should be based on mutual understanding and equal status, where India's so-called grandparents should be ended, and the state committee member Brigadier General (Retd.) Hasan Nasir said this at a press conference at the Kalyan Party's chairman's office at the DOHS of Mohakhali on Thursday.

The party said, India does not want to take only one, but they are not a one-sided relationship. Syed Muhammad Ibrahim was present.

Brigaditar General (retd.) Hasan Nasir said at a recent India-Bangladesh relationship that mutual exchange is the key point in bilateral relations. But we do not see that in the case of India-Bangladesh bilateral relations.

In his written statement, he said, India is trying to force the people of Bangladesh to accept inhuman friendship in the name of friendship with the government. The illegal government of night polling is gradually being supported to become stronger.

In response to a question at the press conference, Sayad Muhammad Ibrahim said that the welfare party will not go to any election outside the independent government and the Election Commission. He thinks that participation in the elections under the Awami League government is a suicide.

In the press conference, Colonel (retd.) Kamal Ahmed, Advisor Colonel (retd.) Abdul Haque, Dr. Badrul Alam Siddiqui, Vice Chairman Mahmud Khan, Commodore Arif Mahmud, Group Captain (Retd.) Sheikh Mizhaj Uddin and others were present.
