Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the annual report of the activities of the Ministry and Departments presented at the Cabinet meeting on Monday (November 14).
After the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Khandkar Anatarul Islam gave details in a briefing at the Secretariat.

The Cabinet Secretary said that the foreign investment in the financial year 2021-22 is 3.44 billion US dollars, while the remittances sent by expatriate Bangladeshis are 21.03 billion US dollars and 9.84 thousand 759 Bangladeshi workers get foreign employment in this year.
Meanwhile, the annual development program has spent 2 lakh three thousand 783 crores on 1 thousand 836 projects, which is Tk 2 lakh three thousand 783 crore. 92.80 percent of the allocation, and a total of 333 projects in the fiscal year 2021-22 ended this financial year, which has increased by 10.98 percent in the last financial year, and the government has given a total of 15,172.79 crore subsidy in fertilizers, irrigation, electricity, etc. in the year 2021-22.
