US Muslim Rights Organization declared as terrorist organization

The Florida government has declared the US Muslim rights organization CAIR (The Council on American-Islamic Relations) a ‘foreign terrorist organization’ and the Muslim Brotherhood has also been included in the list.

The government of Florida, Ron Desantis, confirmed the executive order in a post on Monday (December 8) in X, which was also decided by the state of Texas last month.

However, the CAIR has been an angry response to Florida's statement, calling it unconstitutional and defamatory, the US federal government has not yet listed the CAIR or the Muslim Brotherhood as terrorists.
