He clarified that Jamaat-e-Islami will not participate in any nation government; rather, there will be an ideological and strong opposition role in the parliament, but the government will be cooperated in public welfare activities.

When he left the Jamaat Amir's residence, Tariq Rahman went to NCP's convener Nahid Islam's residence at 5 Circuit House Road at 8:00 PM, where he held a one-hour meeting with NCP leaders.
