Triennial conference of the Teachers' Association in Lakshmipur

The triennial conference of the Lakshmipur district branch of the Bangladesh Teachers' Association (Principal Md. Kamruzzaman) has been held. The conference was organized at the hall of Lakshmipur Collegiate High School on Friday (September 22) afternoon under the initiative of the District and Sadar Upazila Teachers' Association.
Lakshmipur District Branch President Md. Momin Ulya presided over the event, with Municipality Mayor M. A. Taher as the chief guest.
The conference was inaugurated by Lakshmipur Government College Principal Main Uddin Pathan.
Moderated by District Teachers' Association Organizing Secretary Kamrul Islam, the conference was addressed by Bangladesh Teachers' Association Central President Principal MA Awal Siddiqui, Vice President Shafi Ulya Khan, District Awami League Organizing Secretary Advocate Abul Bashar, Judge's Court Assistant PP Advocate Babu Premdhan Majumder, Yusuf Jalal Kismat, former District Chhatra League President Abul Kashem Mizan and District Independence Teachers' Council Convener Mahbubur Rashid Chowdhury. In addition, the principals and assistant principals of secondary educational institutions in the district were present at the conference.
The speakers said that teachers should always strive to improve the quality of education and implement digital education in all fields. They called on the people to gather under the flag of the Bangladesh Teachers' Association led by the late teacher leader Kamruzzaman to demand the nationalization of teachers' jobs.
