Laxmipur ADC and UNOK summoned to the High Court

Dhaka: Former Acting Civil Surgeon Dr. The High Court has summoned Salah Uddin Sharif's mobile court Bassi Jail Chamtir Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Sheikh Murshidul Islam and Executive Magistrate and Sadar Upazila UNO (Upazila Executive Officer) Mohammad Nuruzzaman.

On the hearing of a writ petition on Tuesday (December 05), the High Court bench rule of Justice Kazi Reza-ul Haque and Justice Mohammad Ullah gave this order.

They have been asked to appear in the High Court on December 13 and give an explanation for the poison, and former Acting Civil Surgeon Dr. Salah Uddin Sharif has been asked to be present in the court.

Supreme Court lawyers Kamal Hossain Mitazi and Ashfakur Rahman filed the writ petition in the court.

After the order, he told reporters that a former civil surgeon was sentenced to a former civil surgeon in the mobile court of Laxmipur, which was reportedly arguing with the ADC general and that he was handed over to the DC office and sent him to jail through the police in the DC office.

Barrister Azim said that after the report came, the two lawyers were angry, the writ petition was filed for the sake of the rule of the law that has been violated.

Barrister Azim also said that the way they handled the mobile court activities and the way a doctor has been abused due to a personal outrage by completely misusing the power of the mobile court is very sad and it has been extremely deviant from the rule of law.

It is to be noted that on the morning of December 4, the incident of verbal arguments and fights over entering Kakali Shishu Angan Vidyalaya in Lakshmipur city, former Acting Civil Surgeon Dr. Salah Uddin Sharif was sentenced to 3 months imprisonment without labor and later the police sent Salah Uddin to jail.

Sadar Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Mohammad Nuruzzaman conducted the mobile court in the office of the Deputy Commissioner.

However, Additional District Magistrate Mir Shaukat Hossain granted his bail the next day on Tuesday.
