Everyone expects a friendly environment at work. But sometimes there are disruptions in the work environment. Work environment issues arise without any responsibility of one's own. This creates pressure on the mind.
Humans are made up of both body and mind. The expression of various circuits, hormones, chemicals, messengers, and neuronal activity in the brain can be called the mind. A study conducted among office workers in America in 2020 found that depression and anxiety cost them about $8 trillion in productivity annually. 10 percent of the country's office workers suffer from some kind of mental problem. In Europe, 25 percent of office workers suffer from anxiety and depression. A study conducted in our country found that 16.01 percent of adults suffer from mental problems.
A survey conducted among garment workers aged 20-29 in 2014 found that 43 percent of garment workers blamed their workplace for their anxiety and depression.
Dr. Ahsan Uddin Ahmed, a psychiatrist at the National Institute of Mental Health and Hospital, gave details on this matter.
How to understand pressure
A sudden change in the behavior and behavior of an office worker may be due to a mental illness. Various symptoms may manifest themselves:
If someone suddenly becomes quiet or reduces their speech, does not follow the office schedule, is unable to complete their work on time, is noisy or agitated with colleagues, is unable to concentrate on any work, shares depression or death with colleagues, is untidy in their clothing - these may be due to some kind of mental problem. In this situation, the office management or colleagues will express sympathy to this employee and, if necessary, ask him to seek the advice of a mental health specialist.
Causes of stress in the office

* If the workload in the office is high.
* Desired means not receiving financial incentives or promotions.
Some types of professions are inherently a cause of mental stress. For example, surgeons, psychiatrists, traffic policing, army, night guards, etc. If these people cannot cope with stress or mental pressure, they will have to resort to mental assessment procedures or counseling. Or they will have to change their profession.
