The Election Commission (EC) said that the same results were recalculated by recalculating the results of an electronic voting machine of an Otarard of Dhaka North City Corporation.
The EC knows that for the first time, the results of such recalculiarity have been proved even if the votes are held in EVMs, but they are recounted.
Election Commission Joint Secretary SM Asaduzzaman gave this information on Sunday (November 6) afternoon.
Election Commission Joint Secretary (Director Public Relations) SM Asaduzzaman said that the polling of Dhaka North City Corporation was held on February 1, 2020 at the EVM but on November 5, the votes of the 6th General Otarard of Dhaka North City Corporation were recounted by the order of the Election Tribunal.
