259 officers have been promoted to the post of Deputy Secretary in the administration. Two separate notifications have been issued from the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday (November 01) to promote them from the Senior Assistant Secretary to the post.
10 of the promoted are working in various embassies abroad and their promotions They have been made the special in charge of the Ministry of Public Administration and they will be appointed later.
Now the administration cadre 193 officers have been promoted to this post, and 66 officials have been deputy secretary from other cadres.
BCS 28th batch was the main consideration in the promotion of post of assistant secretary to deputy secretary. Also, officials of various batches who were deprived of the previous promotion have also come from the Ministry of Public Administration.
