Honoring of winners on Rokeya Day in Kamalnagar

Three women have been selected as winners at the Lakshmipur Kamalnagar Upazila level on the occasion of the International Campaign to Prevent Violence against Women and Begum Rokeya Day.

Upazila Executive Officer Suchitra Ranjan Das presented mementos and certificates to the selected winners at a ceremony organized by the Upazila Administrator and Upazila Women's Affairs Officer at 11 am on Friday (December 9).

The selected women winners are: Nipu Akhter and Hasina Akhter from Char Falkon village, who have made immense contributions to social development, and Mahmuda Begum from Char Jangalia village.

Also present at the event were Kamalnagar Upazila Parishad Chairman Mezbah Uddin Ahmed Bappi, Vice Chairman Omar Faruk Sagar, Kamalnagar Police Station SI Mostaq, Women's Affairs Officer Md. Morshed Alam, Agriculture Officer Md. Iqtarul Islam, Information Officer Shahana Islam, Corruption Prevention Committee Kamalnagar President Maulana Zayed Hossain Al Farooqui, freedom fighter Sharif Ullah, Kamalnagar Press Club Vice President Md. Faiz Mahmud, General Secretary A. I. Tareq and many others.
