The case was said to be the prosecution's argument, that the Awami League joint general secretary Hanif was the joint general secretary of the Awami League. He accepted the decision as part of the government to suppress the July movement. At the same time, he implemented everything to suppress the movement through his subordinates. He was a civilian leader, for this reason, he implemented these through the instructions or conversations of the subordinates. Which is said to be a crime against humanity prosecution.
The other accused in this case are – Kushtia District Aomi League President Sadar Uddin Khan, General Secretary Azgar Ali and City Awami League General Secretary Ataur Rahman Ata, who are currently absconding.
