Attack on Khaleda Zia's convoy

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's convoy was attacked in Feni on her way to Cox's Bazar to meet Rohingya refugees fleeing Myanmar.

BNP Student Affairs Secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie alleged that the attack took place in Debipur, Fatehpur area of Feni, around 5 pm on Saturday.

He said the attack occurred on the vehicle of media personnel in the BNP Chairperson's convoy.

However, there were no immediate reports of casualties in the incident. It is learnt that despite the attack, all the vehicles in the convoy, including Khaleda Zia's, quickly left the scene without stopping anywhere.
