Martyr Intellectual Day-2022 was celebrated on the occasion of Charbhadrasan Upazila Administration of Faridpur. On this occasion, wreath laying, candle lighting and discussion meeting were held at the Liberation War Sculpture of Upazila Independence Chattar at 6 pm on Wednesday.

In memory of the martyred intellectuals, the upazila headquarters B. S. Upazila Executive Officer Tanjila Kabir Trapa presided over the discussion on the importance and significance of Martyr Intellectual Day at Independence Square, Upazila Chairman Md. Kausar, Vice Chairman Md. Motaleb Hossain Molya, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md Khairul Islam, Thana Sub Inspector Md. Kamrul Islam, Freedom Fighter Abul Kalam Azad and Journalist Md Mezbah Uddin spoke.
Same freedom fighters, UP candidates, Charbhadrasan Fatar service members, officials, employees, teachers and journalists of various government departments were present.
The speakers gave a significant speech by remembering the martyred intellectuals who were killed that night by the Pak invader forces and their countrymen Dosar Razakar, Al Badr, Al Shams and Peace Committee.
