The philosophy of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is the main basis of the constitution, said the Speaker of the National Parliament. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury.
He said this in the speech of the chief guest at a seminar titled ‘Bangladesh's Role in World Peace’ at Senamalnch in Dhaka Cantonment on Wednesday (September 21).
Bangladesh Army and North South University jointly organized the seminar on the occasion of International Peace Day-2022. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury said, "The philosophy of the Father of the Nation towards mankind is the foundation of our constitution. We will all be determined to keep this foundation energized."
He expressed hope that this philosophy of the father of the nation and the constitution of Bangladesh upheld the constitution.
Bangladeshi peacekeepers and partners at all levels will continue to maintain concerted efforts to maintain world peace.
In his speech, Bangladesh Army Chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed highlighted the overall achievements of peacekeepers, referring to the outstanding contribution of Bangladeshi peacekeepers in the establishment of world peace.
He also shed light on what to do to play a more active role of Bangladeshi peacekeepers in establishing world peace while upholding this achievement.
