The court has granted interim bail to Hafsa Akhtar Putul, the jailed wife of the Juba Dal leader, in the court premises of Dhaka.

Earlier, Hafsa had been in the human chain for the release of Mata, and he came to the court today in the bail hearing.

Hafsa's lawyer Barrister Kashtar Kamal said the court had seen CCTV footage of Hafsa's cocktail blast in the police before the order, which has no further charges against Hafsa, which is not barring his release.

On the day of the bail hearing of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the cocktail exploded in front of the Dhaka Metropolitan Court on the day of the bail hearing. On the same day, the police filed a case under the Kotoli Thana and Explosives Act on the same day. Hafsa has been in jail since November 27. When he asked for bail in the Dhaka Metropolitan Court on 25 February, the judge rejected it in the court last Sunday.

The father of the two children, Abdul Hamid Bhui, is associated with BNP politics, his father Abdul Hai Bhuita, in a human chain, alleged that his son Abdul Hamid was being sought by the police, or the son's wife Hafsa was picked up by the fact that Hafsa was not involved in politics.
