UNO who broke the trophy should be replaced

Alikadam Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mehruba Islam has been transferred from Bandarban to Dhaka Division after breaking the football trophy.

The notification signed by Sheikh Shamsul Arefin, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, on Monday (September 26), has been issued a transfer order.

According to the notification, Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Mehruba Islam has been entrusted with the power of Section-144 of Section-144 of the Criminal Procedure Code for serving as Executive Magistrate in the jurisdiction of the jurisdiction of the District Officer of the Upazila. The order issued in the interest of the public will be effective immediately, as mentioned in the notification.

Earlier on Friday (September 23) afternoon, the final game of the Interuni Football Tournament of the Inter-Uniti Football Tournament was held at the Government Primary School ground in the Reperapapa area of the Government Primary School, No. 2 Chaikshang Unit, the final game of the Resident Junior XI vs Reper Pa Bazar XI was held.

The Khel was present as the chief guest, while Alikadam Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mehruba Islam was the chief guest and the UNO broke the trophy (cup) in a spur of the awards distribution and the prize distribution.

This created a very tense situation in Alikadam upazila, and later various protest programs were held there against the UNO and he was transferred in the meantime.
