A worker named Bachchu Chapat Bachchu Fakir (57) was killed in Narsingdi at around 12:15 on Wednesday (December 28) The accident took place in front of Danga Bazar in Palash Upazila of Narsingdi District. The deceased Bachchu Fakir is the son of deceased Samir Uddin of Danga Uniton of Palash Upazila.

According to the police and local sources, Bachchu Fakir went to work as a laborer in Danga Bazar from his home in Hasanhata village on Wednesday morning like every day. After 12:15, he was crushed by the sams of the samsat bhakur.

Danga Police Fanji In-charge (ASI) Md Khairul Islam said, "The body of the deceased has been recovered from the spot. Preparations are underway to send the body to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital morgue for the investigation. The next legal action is under process.
