A businessman was killed by miscreants at Madan in Netrakona

A businessman named Babul Chandra Das (40) was killed in Madan of Netrakona.

On the way home at 10 pm on Sunday, the miscreants stole money from behind and fled with a bag of money, while Babul Das was the son of deceased Hemchandra Das of Madan village in the municipal headquarters of the upazila.

According to local people and police sources, Babul Das has been doing wholesale business of Modi goods in the eastern market for a long time. Like every day, he was going home with a bag of money at 10 pm on Sunday. When he reached 200 yards from the temple, the miscreants stole money from behind and ran away with a bag of money.

Injured, Babul Das went to Hari temple and fell down and the people in the temple rescued him and brought him to Madan Upazila Health Complex, after preliminary examination, the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Madan police station OC Mohammad Tawhidur Rahman said that a businessman named Babul Das was killed in the slaughter of miscreants and the body will be sent to Netrakona Sadar Hospital for post-mortem after post-mortem report.

No one has been identified in this incident, and further necessary action will be taken based on the complaint of the family.
