The triennial conference of the Senbagh Upazila Awami League in Noakhali declared Alhaj Morshed Alam MP, MP, of Noakhali-2 (Senbagh-Sonaimuri) constituency, as the president and Lion Jahangir Alam Manik as the general secretary.
At that time, the names of Vice-Presidents Bahar Ullah Bahar, Shawkat Hossain Kanan and Joint General Secretary Md. Golam Kabir were announced.
The new committee was announced at the Upazila Hallroom at the second session of the Upazila Awami League's triennial conference on Saturday (December 3) at 4:30 pm.
Earlier, Noakhali District Awami League Convener Principal AHM Khairul Anam Selim inaugurated the conference by hoisting the national flag and party flag at 11:30 am.
Bangladesh Awami League Organizing Secretary Abu Sayeed Al Mahmud Swapan MP was present as the chief guest. Senbag Upazila Awami League Convener Alhaj Morshed Alam MP presided over the conference.
The conference, moderated by Senbag Upazila Awami League Joint Conveners Lion Jahangir Alam Manik and Shawkat Hossain Kanan, was also addressed by Awami League Agriculture and Cooperative Affairs Secretary Faridunnahar Laili, Joint Conveners Shihab Uddin Shahin, Shahidullah Khan Sohel, Member Dr. Jamal Uddin Ahmed, Prime Minister's Personal Assistant Md. Jahangir Alam, Senbag Upazila Chairman Alhaj Zafar Ahmed Chowdhury, Senbag Upazila Awami League Joint Convener Md. Bahar Ullah Bahar, Upazila Vice Chairman Md. Golam Kabir, Senbag Municipality Mayor Abu Nasher Dulal, etc.
