Former all-rounder Shahid Afridi has been appointed as the interim chief selector of the Pakistan national cricket team.
The three-member selection committee also includes Abdul Razzaq and Rao Iftekhar Anjum.
They have been given the responsibility with the home series against New Zealand ahead.
The PCB said it wanted to leverage Afridi's 20 years of fearless cricketing experience. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board did not provide any details on whether Shahid Afridi would continue as the chief selector after this series.
