In the Faridpur Zilla Parishad election, the independent candidate became a private candidate after getting 625 votes for the post of chairman. Shahadat Hossain. His closest rival in this election is Bangladesh Awtami League supported candidate Md Farooq Hossain has been defeated by 540 Pa. In this, Shahadat Hossain-Chashma Pratik Nit, Faridpur Sadar-63, Madhukhali-60, Bosalmari-66, Alfadanga-32, Bhanga-130, Saltha-73, Nagarkanda-86, Sadarpur-68 voted in total 620 votes.

On the other hand, Farooq Hossain-Pineapple symbol Nit Faridpur Sadar-129, Madhukhali-98, Botaalmari 79, Alfadanga 61, Bhanga-40, Saltha-30, Nagarkanda-46, Sadarpur-38 voted, were defeated by a total of 540 votes. On Monday (October 17), Shahadat Hossain was declared a private chetterman in the post of Chatterman. People of different classes and professions have congratulated and wished Shahadat Hossain.

Meanwhile, on Monday, from 9 am to 2 pm, the vote was held in 9 centers in 9 upazilas of the district, which had a total of 1181 voters, with 1167 votes cast, on the contrary, 3 people were elected, 37 members and 11 reserved women were contested for the post of reserved women.

Faridpur Deputy Commissioner Atul Atul Sarkar said that RAB, Police, Ansar and BGB have four levels of security forces around the election, and the judicial striking force works with one executive magistrate in each center.
