Residents of the district are suffering from continuous electricity. Zakir Hossain, a resident of Kamalnagar upazila, said, ‘The electricity has gone on Monday morning, it has not yet come. We are unhappy to be without electricity for a long time.’

Chairman of Char Ramani Mohan Uniton of Laxmipur Sadar Upazila, Yusuf Chaital and Cheetman of Char Banshi Union of Ratpur Upazila, Abul Hossain said, ’The power cable has been broken in their area. The power cable has been broken. The poles have been broken, many people have been suffering from no electricity for two days. It's going to end.’

Zakir Hossain, general manager of Laxmipur Palli Vidyut Samiti, said that there were numerous trees on the power line, the poles were broken and he was also torn.

He added that there are 5 lakh 3000 customers of Galita Palli Vidyut, till now the entire district is working to normalize the situation. 120 teams are working to normalize the situation. It may be necessary to supply the entire district with electricity till next Wednesday, but the city area will be tried in the evening.
