45 firefighters receive medals for heroic contributions

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal handed over medals to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday morning (November 15) and awarded medals to these Fighters in four categories.

Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced the opening of the Fatur Service and Civil Defense Week at 10 am. The head of the government has been virtually joined from the Ganabhaban at the parade ground of the Fatur Service Training Complex in Mirpur, the capital.

This year, Fatur Service Week is being celebrated every year, and this Fatur Service Week is celebrated to increase fire safety among people across the country and promote public involvement in the activities of the Fatur Service and Civil Defense.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Secretary of the Security Services Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs, M. Abdullah Al Masud Chowdhury, is present as special guest on the occasion.
