Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated the much awaited dream metro rail, Bangladesh has entered the modern metro rail era in the midst of the colorful opening ceremony.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the first part of the MRT Line-6 of Metrorail at around 11 am on Wednesday (December 28).

After 160 years of the start of the railway journey, Bangladesh is entering a new port, this technology-based powered rail link is called Metrorail.

The first railway journey in the region was started in the British period in 1962. This train will run on electricity using steam engines, lakmetiv.

The official of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be the first passenger of the most modern transport system in the city by cutting the red ribbon.
