Denmark wins Miss Universe for the first time. Victoria Kjer Thilvig was crowned by the 2023 winner, Shanice Palacios of Nicaragua
Miss Universe Denmark was first asked in the Q&A session, 'If no one evaluates you correctly, how will you survive?'‘

The question for Victoria was, "Miss Universe has inspired generations of women. What do you have to say to the women watching you tonight?"‘
Victoria replied, "To those watching me from different parts of the world, I want to tell you, you cannot be judged by where you come from, what your past is. You can turn around in any situation. You have to keep fighting. I am standing here today because I want to change. I want to make history."‘
