In Lakshmipur, a housewife named Jasmine Akhtar was accused of trying to kill her by cutting her hair and trying to kill her by pouring poison in her mouth.
Jasmine, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital, made this complaint to the media workers on Wednesday evening against her husband Lokman Hossain and father-in-law's people.
Earlier, the housewife was tortured by her father-in-law in Samajpur village of Mandari Union of Sadar Upazila.
Genmin also said that a year ago, the family members of the deceased Raja Mitar of Samajpur village of Mandari Uniton, Lokman Hossain, and his family have been torturing him for dowry since the family. Later, the locals rescued him and admitted him to the hospital.
Resident Medical Officer of the hospital Dr. Anonor Hossain said he was admitted to Jasmine Hospital after trying to kill him by cutting his hair and pouring poison in his mouth. He said that he is being treated now, he said.
In this regard, Laxmipur Additional Superintendent of Police (Circle Sadar) Md. Anautar Hossain said that he is not aware of the poison, but there is no news about this poison, legal action will be taken if there is a complaint.
