Bangladesh declares 3 days of state mourning over Queen's death

The government has expressed three days of mourning in Bangladesh from today to September 11 over the death of Queen Elizabeth II of Britain.

This information was revealed by the Prime Minister's Press Wing on Friday.

On the death of Queen Elizabeth, three days from Friday to September 11, all government and private buildings including government, semi-government, self-governing institutions, educational institutions and Bangladesh missions abroad will be kept at half-mast in the death of the Queen. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have expressed deep grief and sorrow. The separate condolence messages the President and the Prime Minister prayed for the peace of the departed soul of the queen and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family.

Earlier on Thursday, Queen Elizabeth died in the Balmoral Palace in Scotland on the afternoon of the locality.
