Lakshmipur:

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-JSD President ASM Abdur Rab said that the constitution is an expression of the will of the people. The government and the ruling party are expressing their distrust against the constitution through all the statements and activities they are conducting in the wake of the Supreme Court's verdict to nullify the 16th Amendment to the constitution. The government's self-declared war with the judiciary is pushing the state towards a terrible disaster. Which is not desirable for the countrymen. The state should be run within the framework of the constitution - not outside the constitution.

Rob said that all state institutions are on the verge of becoming weak and ineffective. The only way out of this is radical reforms in governance and administration. The 10 points raised by JSD are a program of radical reforms. There is no alternative to implementing this program.

He made these remarks while addressing the JSD conference of Barakheri Union No. 8 and Char Gazi Union No. 9 in Ramgati, Lakshmipur on Monday (September 4) afternoon as the chief guest.

Mir Golam Azam Faruk presided over the event, and JSD Vice President Begum Tania Rob, Adv. Syed Belayet Hossain Belal, Adv. Kausar Niazi, freedom fighter Gias Uddin, Shahdat Hossain Nirab, Lokman Hossain Bablu, Borhan Uddin Roman, Eng.
