An old man named Rafiq Ulya (60) died due to the negligence of the Rural Electricity Authority in Rakhtpur, Laxmipur, died Sharafat Ulya, the son of Ishtachin Haji Bair of the area.

Laxmipur Palli Vidyut Samiti Ratpur Zonal Office Deputy General Manager (DGM) Shahadat Hossain said, ‘Customers informed us about the poison of his stay at around 8 am. The accident happened before our people went to the spot.’

Ratpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shipon said, ‘The body has been recovered and the poison of the investigation has been done under the application. Legal action will be taken on the request of the affected families."
