Attack on fishermen in Meghna, Lakshmipur, 10 injured

Laxmipur: Bhola fishermen have attacked local fishermen over fishing in Meghna river in Ramgatti, Laxmipur, which has been accused of 10 people injured.

The incident took place in Char Abdullah area of Meghna river on Monday (November 21).

Among the injured were 10 people including Md. Bashir, Nurnabi, Mizan, Abu Chated, Sattar, Abbas, Farooq Babul, and the seriously injured Nurnabi, Bashir and Mizan were admitted to the hospital, while others were given first aid.

The injured fishermen said that at night the Ramgati border of the Meghna river is in the river Char Abdullah area to catch fish. Bhola was attacked by a boat fisherman who was attacked by a boat and cash in the boat. However, it was not possible to take the statement of the accused despite trying in this regard.
